Cool Water Perfume by Davidoff Review Date published: Fri, 17 Aug 2007 07:07:55 +0000

Cool Water Perfume puts its makers, Davidoff, at the top the designer tree as it is one of the most popular and regularly worn perfumes and colognes in the world. The Cool Water fragrance was originally designed for men, a fragrance that is just as popular, if not even more so, as the Cool Water perfume for women. Davidoff is probably one of the most successful fragrance designers on the planet.

Cool Water perfume was launched onto the market in 1996. This fragrance is known to have a floral but sharp aroma. The name reflects the fresh marine-like fragrance and was designed to capture and evoke memories of those special moments at the beach together with a fresh ocean breeze. Even the container that holds the perfume was designed with this theme in mind; with the bottle apparently representing a refreshing bottle of mineral water. Inviting scents of mulberry, vetiver and amber give this perfume its warm sunshine tones, whist notes of pineapple, water lily, peach, sandalwood, lotus blossom and jasmine give it that tropical paradise aroma.

Davidoff is also closely linked to the production of designer cigarettes, but continues to be recognised for his huge input into the fashion and accessories market. To visit the company’s website, click here.

Davidoff continued to build on the success of his fragrance lines for women and introduced Good Life perfume for Women in 1999. This is sheer but intense fragrance boasting floral and oriental aromas. Good Life perfume is made up of carnation, jasmine, tuberose, plum, fig and date with warm undertones of vanilla, date and sandalwood. This scent is said to create a sense of happiness and well being. Reflecting the trouble-free image of the perfume, the container which houses the fragrance is a beautiful curved for easy handling.

Davidoff of course, is just one of the many designers who have created these popular but expensive perfumes. It is easy to feel special when you treat yourself to a spray of your favourite perfume. Wearing and using fragrance has been a practice for over thousands of years, but is it the actually the smell of the perfume that we enjoy, or is the fact that we are wearing a product created by designers of lucrative and luxurious fashions? Whatever the reason, we are blessed with such a huge range of fragrances and colognes to choose from these days, that whatever our reasoning for buying a bottle of designer perfume, there is sure to be one to suit everybody’s needs.
